Core and Stretch
Thursday 7:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
A strong and stable core along with flexibilty is the foundation for efficient movement. Efficient movement allows you go to faster longer and helps to prevent injuries, especially repetitive type injuries associated with triathlon.
You'll strengthen your core and improve your flexibility both in joints and in the muscles. You'll feel taller, longer and stronger and very relaxed at the end of this session.
It is in Coach' K's plans that athletes would do a run or cycle workout prior to this class and arrive with muscles warmed up. If you can't do a training session prior to class, then Coach advises that you at least walk to get warm and nearly break a sweat beforehand
** To benefit the most from this class you'll want to invest in a yoga mat, stretch strap and 1-2 yoga blocks. Please bring these with you to class.
